The Experts Bureau is a searchable database of EFB Professional, Institutional, Business and Sponsor level members. Each Expert updates their own profile and has signed a Code of Conduct to abide by the principles of ecotourism defined by EFB.

Once you narrow your search to a set of experts, you can view a short review of their experience, contact information, download a resume, and contact the expert and their references directly. Experts Bureau Terms and Conditions

EFB offers this listing of experts as a service to its professional level and above membership. Access to the database is free to the public.

EFB has not systematically evaluated the performance of all those listed here. We therefore cannot endorse or guarantee the performance of any individual expert or vouch for the accuracy of the information included in individual resumes. We strongly suggest that prospective employers contact the references listed by each Expert as well as the Expert's past employer(s).

EFB is not responsible for the failure of any Expert to perform as expected. However, EFB does welcome comments from employers on the performance of any of these Experts. We reserve the right to remove from this database anyone who, in our judgment, has acted illegally, immorally, unprofessionally, or contrary to the principles outlined in our Code of Conduct .

In addition, please note that:

Individual experts are solely responsible for keeping their data up to date.
Any contractual terms, conditions, and obligations are to be agreed on by the expert and the company/organization concerned. At no time is EFB to be contractually committed without the prior, written permission of the Executive Director.
Any financial arrangements (i.e., for fees and expenses) are exclusively the responsibility of the expert and the organization that requests the services.
EFB cannot guarantee the provision of assignments to experts.
EFB cannot be held responsible for the quality of work, professional conduct, or for any neglected agreements or breaches of contract of any expert.
Experts are fully responsible for arranging their travel, travel documentation, and any other required documents.
EFB has the right to remove from this database any expert who misrepresents his or her position with EFB, who garners complaints about their abilities or professional conduct, who is found to violate EFB' Code of Conduct , or who neglects any contract that was facilitated by this service.

When EFB itself is seeking consultants, instructors, or speakers for its own projects, courses or events, it will - whenever there is sufficient time - post details of the assignment and a call for experts who wish to be hired for this work. Any expert in our database can then apply for the position. EFB is committed to being as transparent and democratic as possible in its selection process. However, the staff retains the right to make selections based on its judgment of who can best fulfill any particular assignment.

An Experts Bureau listing is a benefit of EFB membership at the Professional level or above. You must become a member of EFB to be listed. The cost of membership for Professionals is $XX per year and provides significant benefits beyond listing in the Experts Bureau.
